WELCOME TO BLUE MARK PROOFREADING

Hello, and welcome to Blue Mark! My name is Brandis, and I am so glad you are here!
I began proofreading in 2014 while working as an office manager for a small, family-owned medical facility in the north metro area of the Twin Cities. I was responsible for reviewing medical reports which the doctors I worked for wrote to attorneys; eventually, when the facility's new website was built, I was tasked with reviewing content for errors, and later was in charge of proofreading monthly marketing and quarterly update emails the doctors wrote.  
Over time, I found that I looked forward to this aspect of my job – it was interesting, and I was good at finding grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors, as well as formatting problems.
That enjoyment led to me beginning Blue Mark Proofreading in 2017. I truly enjoy reading any and all types of content, but when professionally produced documents and other materials contain errors, I notice how they stand out- and not in a good way. Over the last few years, I have expanded my proofreading outside of medical reports to include marketing materials, website content and blog posts, short stories, and more for many different client types in many different industries.
